Radio New Zealand has named Wallace Chapman as the new host for the Sunday Morning programme.
He will replace Chris Laidlaw who is retiring, and presents his final show this weekend.
Chapman was previously a breakfast host at 95bFM and KiwiFM and a presenter on Radio Live.
He was also the presenter of Back Benches, a pub politics show on Prime TV.
Chapman takes up the role early in the New Year.
Radio NZ networks presentation manager John Howson said the appointment provides an opportunity to review the current programme format and to explore options for new content.
The Sunday Morning show has a live audience of more than 200,000 listeners.
