Police are asking anybody who has been tramping in the Nelson Lakes National Park during the past two weeks to come forward, as they try to locate a missing British tramper.
Andrew Wyatt was last seen leaving the Blue Lake Hut on Te Araroa track on 15 December.
He was reported missing after he failed to pick up a pre-arranged food package.
Constable David Cogger from Nelson police search and rescue says the operation is currently on hold because the weather is too severe.
But he says they would like to hear from anyone who has been in the area.
Mr Cogger says it's hoped the rescue operation can resume on Friday, when they plan to fly five search teams into the area.
