A teenage boy was taken to hospital with facial injuries after a hit and run incident in Nelson.
He was riding a scooter on Waimea Road when he was struck by a car at the intersection of Waimea Road and Motueka Street between 3.50pm - 4.10pm on Wednesday.
Police said the car is described as a black older style sedan. The driver did not stop.
