Police have identified the body of a tramper found on a Coromandel walking track on New Year's Day.
Sergeant Damien O'Kane said the 50-year-old Rotorua man was found on the Broken Hills track near Tairua and has been identified by his family.
Mr O'Kane said there are no suspicious circumstances and the case has been referred to a coroner.
