Police are concerned for the safety of an Auckland man who may be in the Waitakere Ranges.
Andrey Melnikov, 46 and originally from Uzbekistan, was last seen on 4 January.
Mr Melnikov, who police describe as tall and muscular, lives in the suburb of Newmarket but has previously walked more than 32km from his home to Huia at the base of the ranges in West Auckland.
