A pregnant woman was taken to Auckland hospital with minor injuries after a motorway crash, from which one of the vehicles fled. She was discharged soon after.
Police said a silver Subaru spun out of control before colliding with the woman's car in the city-bound lanes on the north-western motorway at about 4am on Sunday.
It then left the scene of the crash, going in the wrong direction and was seen in CCTV footage leaving the motorway at Lincoln Road.
Police are still looking for the driver.
