Two men badly hurt in a topdressing plane crash in central Hawkes Bay on Tuesday morning remain in the intensive care unit at Hawke's Bay hospital.
The pilot and loader-driver, both in their 60s, have multiple fractures.
The plane crashed as it came in to land on a private airstrip near Otane, and the men were trapped inside the cockpit before being cut free.
The hospital says one is still in a critical condition; the other is in a serious condition.
