Police in Christchurch are searching for a man in connection with two domestic incidents over the past two days.
They have named him as James Arthur Matthew William Brown, 47, of Christchurch.
Acting Detective Senior Sergeant Illingworth said on Friday although there is no threat to the general public, Mr Brown is considered dangerous and should not be approached.
The man is wanted in connection with domestic incidents in the suburb of Woolston on Wednesday night and Thursday morning. No one was injured.
