An empty house in Auckland has been left severely damaged after falling victim to one of two suspicious fires in Otara early Sunday morning.
Fire crews were called to the house on Geraldine Road at 3.45am.
The Fire Service says the fire was started in the kitchen and the bedroom, and spread through the house.
Crews were then called to a shed burning nearby on Dawson Road at 4.40am.
No one was hurt in either fire, and no other properties were damaged.
