One person is injured after a microlight aircraft crashed during a forced landing in Southland.
Police were called to the incident near the Waipahi Highway between Pukerau and Gore about 3.30pm on Wednesday.
Police said the sole occupant of aircraft was treated for minor injuries. No other property was damaged.
The Civil Aviation Authority will investigate the crash.
