Two young children and a woman have been taken to hospital after the car they were in collided with a school bus in Tauranga.
A police spokesperson said the crash happened on Welcome Bay Road at 7.50am on Thursday.
Senior Sergeant Ian Campion said the bus was parked at a bus stop when the car crashed into the back of it. Only the bus driver was on board and was uninjured.
Mr Campion said the driver of the car was briefly knocked unconscious and was taken to Tauranga Hospital for observation, along with a seven-year-old boy and four-year-old girl.
