Australians are being warned against eating a type of New Zealand cheese due to a listeria contamination.
New Zealand Whitestone Cheese company's Windsor blue cheese is being recalled in four states.
Victoria's chief health officer, Rosemary Lester, says while the company has removed the cheese from sale in stores, some people may still have the product at home.
She says they are advised to throw it out or return it to the place of purchase.
Listeria infection is particularly dangerous for pregnant women, their unborn babies and elderly people and can even cause death in people with compromised immune systems.
