The Westboro Baptist Church posted on Twitter its protest at New Zealand singer Lorde's concert in Kansas City on Saturday.
Earlier this week, the church, which publishes anti-homosexual messages, announced it was going to picket the show.
It has posted pictures, as well as tweeting the message that the picket signs come straight from the word of God.
Stephen Koranda of Kansas Public Radio says church members often travel around the country to picket. He says they target popular events to maximise the amount of attention they get.
Mr Koranda says church members know how to stay within the law at protests, because some of them are lawyers.
