An Auckland barista has taken the title as the country's best coffee maker.
Contestants from all regions spent three days in Wellington putting their creative and technical expertise to the test, grinding and pouring.
Auckland barista Hanna Teramoto took out the competition and will represent New Zealand at the World Barista Championships in Rimini, Italy in June.
Second place went to last year's winner, Nick Clark from Wellington.
The baristas were tasked with creating a perfect espresso and cappuccino and also four signature drinks.
