Flights in and out of Wellington have almost returned to normal as the heavy fog that saw flights cancelled continues to lift.
More than 60 flights were cancelled and many more delayed on Monday due to the low-lying fog.
A Wellington Airport spokesperson said on Monday night there are still some minor delays while airlines work through the backlog.
Passengers should refer to the airport's website or contact the airlines for the most up to date information, she said.
