A woman has denied making a sex tape of her former partner and blackmailing him to get custody of their child.
The woman, who has name suppression, has denied charges of blackmail and making an intimate visual recording.
Crown prosecutor Nick Whittington told the High Court in Auckland on Monday the pair broke up after a four-year relationship but continued seeing each other, despite the man marrying again.
Mr Whittington said when the man refused to give his consent for her to move to Wellington with their child, the woman threatened to send an intimate video and text messages to the man's wife.
The man went to police.
