A former Kapiti Coast mortgage broker has pleaded guilty to defrauding her clients of more than $800,000.

Kerry Buddle pleaded guilty to 27 charges in Wellington District Court on Tuesday.

The charges of using documents to obtain a pecuniary advantage and causing financial losses extended back to 2008.

Buddle was granted bail so that she could take part in restorative justice meetings if they were requested.

She was remanded on bail until sentencing on 18 July.
