Stalker released with tough conditions

12:39 pm on 6 June 2014

One of the country's worst serial stalkers has managed to find what's been described as another potential victim while still in prison.

Despite concerns about his risk of reoffending, Glenn Green has just been released from jail because his formal sentence ends on Saturday.

Green has more than 200 convictions for breaching protection orders, harassment and intimidation.

The Parole Board has already set tough conditions for his release, but more have just been added.

On top of a curfew, electronic monitoring, a ban on internet access and limits to where he can travel, he's now also been ordered to stay out of Ngaruawahia and Hamilton.

The Board said that is because he became obsessed with a female health professional in prison - he knows where she works, and had planned to visit her.
