Two people have been taken to hospital with moderate injuries after the car they were in went off the road north of the Churton Park off-ramp north of Wellington
One person was trapped in the vehicle, and police had to close a northbound lane while emergency services worked to free them.
The police said the incident was not affecting traffic, which was flowing freely.
