A man is in an induced coma in Wellington Hospital with serious head injuries after being assaulted in central Nelson on Saturday night.
Nelson Police say the 40-year-old man was attacked outside a Rutherford Street house.
Two men, aged 19 and 27, will appear in the Nelson District Court on Monday charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
