Two quakes measuring more than magnitude 4 have rocked the South Island this morning - a 4.4 west of Te Anau and a 4.5 near Seddon.
The first quake, a magnitude 4.4 magnitude, was recorded 60 kms west of Te Anau at 9.44am, at a depth of 44kms.
A second, near Seddon, measuring 4.5 was recorded just after 11am. It was 44 kms deep.
There were no reports of damage.
