Southee fined for conduct breach

New Zealand fast bowler Tim Southee has been fined after a confrontation with a West Indian batsman in the second Test in Port of Spain.

Southee and batsman Kirk Edwards had to separated by the umpires in the incident on Wednesday.

Southee has been fined 30 percent of his match payment by match referee Chris Broad.

Mr Broad said Southee's disrespect to Edwards and the umpires was unacceptable.

New Zealand finished the third day on 73 for 1 in their second innings and trail the West Indies by 166 runs.
