Ten children were taken to hospital for checks after a bus crashed in south Taranaki on Wednesday.
Emergency services were called to the corner of Neill Road and Palmer Road near Kaponga about 2.50pm.
Police said abut 25 children from two primary schools were on the bus when the accident happened.
Ten of them and the driver were taken to Hawera Hospital for precautionary checks for minor injuries.
Police said they do not know the cause of the crash and are investigating.
