Power is back on after nearly 3000 Christchurch residents throughout the suburbs of Broomfield, Harewood, Hei Hei, Hornby, and Rolleston lost power after a fault this morning.
Orion customers throughout the suburbs of Broomfield, Harewood, Hei Hei, Hornby, and Rolleston were among those affected.
A cable fault was identified as the cause of the outage.
