Fire has gutted a red zone house in the Christchurch suburb of Sumner.
The Fire Service said it was called just before 6pm to the Richmond Hill Road property.
Two trucks, a tanker and another unit are at the scene.
The Fire Service said an investigator will be at the scene today.
