Countdown has issued a precautionary recall of Chevron 4 and 6 outlet power boards with surge protection, with a three-metre lead.
The recall applied to those two products sold in Countdown, SuperValue and FreshChoice supermarkets from August 2013 to November this year.
The products were being recalled due to a risk of overheating and fire.
Countdown said consumers should stop using the products and return them for a full refund.
