A 32-year-old woman has been charged after a man was hit by a car in Tokoroa and critically injured.
The 20-year-old victim, who suffered multiple injuries in the incident just after noon yesterday, remained in a critical condition in Waikato Hospital.
The driver, who is from Tokoroa, has been charged with assault with a weapon.
She was due to appear in the Tokoroa District Court tomorrow.
Police wanted to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident.
