A three-year-old boy has died in a house fire in Hamilton this morning.
Emergency Services were called to the Karen Crescent address in Dinsdale just before 11am, and said the fire was well advanced when they arrived.
The child died at the scene.
Senior Sergeant Pete Simpson says a woman was rushed to Waikato Hospital with severe burns, and two others suffered smoke inhalation.
"A middle aged woman who lived at the dwelling is in the Waikato Hospital in a serious condition, her three-year-old son died at the scene, the woman's two other children aged four and eighteen years suffered smoke inhalation and are being treated at the Waikato Hospital."
Mr Simpson said the cause of the blaze was being investigated.
