Hamilton Police are investigating an attempted sexual assault on a woman in a supermarket car park.

They say a man grabbed the woman as she was getting into her car at the Countdown supermarket on Bridge Street at 8pm last Wednesday.
They said the 20-year-old woman's dog jumped from the car and bit the man on his right forearm.
She then kicked him in the groin, and he fled the scene.
The man is described as being aged between mid thirties to early forties, and looks like he may be of Indian descent.
Police want the public to let them know if they see a man fitting the description who appears to have been injured.
