Police are investigating the armed holdup of South Auckland service station that ended in a car crash.
They say two people with a firearm entered the Caltex service station on Great South Road in Otahuhu just before midnight last night demanding cigarettes and money.
The pair fled in a car driven by a third person and a short time later crashed into a parked vehicle on Mahia Road, Manurewa.
Police are asking anyone who saw the collision or three people running away from the scene to contact them.
