McGrath's extradition confirmed

The New South Wales police have confirmed the extradition from New Zealand of a former Catholic brother on sex charges will take place.

It followed a decision this week from Justice Mander that former Justice Minister Judith Collins made no reviewable errors when she ruled in August that Bernard McGrath should face extradition.

In 2012 Australian police requested his extradition on 252 charges related to sex offences.

A New South Wales police spokesperson has confirmed the latest court ruling was not being appealed by Mr McGrath.

His lawyer had yet to return calls.
