Two North Island clothing companies have closed, with the loss of 40 jobs.
Palmerston North-based Everest Fashions and Levin-based Beardsley Pearce have announced they have gone into liquidation.
The closures come hard on the heels of the closure of the Feltex plants in Foxton and Feilding, which resulted in the loss of about 160 jobs.
