The National Army Museum in Waiouru has been overwhelmed by the response to its call for hand sewn, knitted and crocheted poppies.

The call went out about six months ago as part of a project to mark the ANZAC centenary.
Organisers had been aiming to get 18,166 poppies - one for every New Zealander who served and died in World War One.
But they have received up to 22,000.
Co-ordinator Alison Jones said people from Whakatane in particular, had really got on board.
"We were getting lots and lots of poppies from that area and at one stage I believe they even ran out of red wool.
"And since then, it's been on our website, our Facebook page and the project has just grown and blossomed."
She said the poppies would be displayed on panels at the museum until 2018.
