Eden Park's name could be for sale again as the Eden Park Trust Board looks to make up a shortfall in the upgrade costs for the 2011 Rugby World Cup.
A search for corporate sponsors was put on hold last year because of the recession but the board says it is begining again.
The trust board needs to make up a shortfall of $40 million.
Chairman John Waller says much of that will come from corporate sponsorship: naming rights are among a number of options being considered.
However, marketing expert David Walden says it is unlikely that anywhere near $40 million can be made from corporate sponsorship.
