Speaking on TV 3's 3D programme this evening, Teina Pora spoke of what it was like to be a free man.

His conviction was quashed by the Privy Council in March and his legal team has applied for compensation.

Teina Pora said whilst he had forgiven family members who gave evidence against him, he cannot forgive the justice system.

"To lock away a man for something he didn't do, and let him go through hell and the shit that I had to live with and so go home and feed their kids while my daughter and I am suffering."
