Weta Digital picks up more awards

New Zealand visual effects company Weta Digital has won a BAFTA for its work on the film Avatar.

A team from the Wellington-based company accepted the British Academy of Film and Television Arts award for special effects in London on Sunday.

Weta Digital is also celebrating another win at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science in Los Angeles for visual effects on films including King Kong, Spiderman 2 and Avatar.
