Relatively few clients deciding to break contracts - Telecom

Telecom says relatively few customers are deciding to break their contracts once they know the options the company is offering to compensate them for failures in the XT mobile network.

The network failed on Monday for the fourth time since it was launched in May last year.

Retail chief executive Alan Gourdie told Morning Report that customers are being told about discounts on offer for those affected.

He says Telecom is focusing on talking to customers who have had several days of failures when using the XT network.
