A man has pleaded guilty to a manslaughter charge in the High Court in Palmerston North, relating to a fatal shooting in the city in May.
Tyrone Gideon, 21, died after being shot at a house in suburban Awapuni.
The man accused of the shooting, whose name is suppressed until he is sentenced, appeared by videolink in front of Justice Simon France, who was sitting in the High Court in Wellington.
The defendant has been remanded on bail until he is sentenced next month.
