The police say they want to talk to him about six incidents of women being accosted in an area around the Pak'nSave supermarket and the Mt Albert train station.

They say he has been putting his hands and arms around women's necks and trying to kiss them.

Detective Martin Friend says it is totally unacceptable behaviour, upsetting and frightening for the women, and the police are very keen to locate the man.

The man is described as slim to medium build, about 160-170cm tall and often wearing a beanie or cap.
