A man is seriously injured after falling while attempting to climb up a waterfall at the Centennial Gardens in Napier.
The incident happened at about 10pm on Thursday.
St John Ambulances say a helicopter with a winch was used to rescue the man, 23.
He is in Hawke's Bay hospital.
