Submissions are now closed on proposed changes to the Air New Zealand Cup.
The deadline for feedback from rugby provincial rugby unions was Friday evening.
In a draft report issued last month, the New Zealand Rugby Union said the 14-team competition needed to be reduced to 12 teams.
It later named Northland and Tasman as the unions to be relegated to the second division of the NPC.
NZRU chief executive Steve Tew says plenty of feedback was received, although he has yet to read it.
He emphasised the decision about which teams will be involved is not the only matter covered by the review.
The draft report also proposed a further reduced salary cap for players and more Ranfurly Shield challenges.
The NZRU board will finalise the review later this month.
