A New Zealander who broke the record for the fastest trip around the world on a bike says it was touch and go.

On Sunday night, Dunedin man Andrew Nicholson arrived at Auckland airport, where his journey started 123 days ago, having cycled the last leg from Invercargill.
In all, he biked 29,179km.
Mr Nicholson said there were plenty of times when he thought he couldn't go on, and it was a matter of surviving day by day.
"I started to peg back the miles and managed to keep up the required daily average, which was about 237 kilometres I think it ended up being - including those flights," he said.
"So it was touch and go but in the end I pulled it back and yes, finished."
Mr Nicholson said his body was completely exhausted now.
His time was yet to be ratified by Guinness World Records, but he looked to have beaten the previous record by about two days.
That record was 125 days, held by Englishman Alan Bate, who completed the journey in 2010.
Under the record rules, public transport over oceans and other impassable natural barriers was taken into account.
Mr Nicholson was trying to raise money for cancer research.
