New Zealand supplier Green Company says 19 of the SlingRiders were brought into this country.
It says it has tracked down three quarters of those who bought them, but its bigger concern is people who may have purchased them overseas.
The owner of Auckland store Baby Bug, Paulette Day, says she thought it was a good product.
