A third person has died as a result of a car crash in the Far North on Friday.
Kayla Gwen Goodhue, 19, of Kaitaia, died in Whangarei Hospital on Saturday.
Ms Goodhue suffered severe head injuries when a car carrying four young people veered off the road west of Kaitaia, before rolling and hitting a power pole.
The driver and another passenger were killed instantly.
Police are still looking for the fourth person, Mark Wynyard, who was apparently uninjured and fled the scene.
