Up to 20 teenagers have been rescued in Auckland's Waitemata harbour after four small boats overturned.
A number of boaties were taken to shore for medical attention after the incident, which occurred off Herald Island just after 2pm on Saturday.
At 4pm, a boat overturned near Pakihi Island, off Kawakawa Bay, in Auckland.
One person found to be in difficulty was taken away by ambulance officers.
