Holmes' daughter denies breach of supervision charges

The daughter of broadcaster Paul Holmes is denying allegations she breached a supervision order.

Millie Elder appeared in Auckland District Court on Monday and was remanded on bail until December.

Her lawyer said she would defend seven charges of failing to report for supervision, one of the conditions of her sentence in March for drugs offences.

The 20-year-old will argue she had reasonable cause to miss the probation appointments, including medical reasons.

She faces separate charges of possessing methamphetamine for supply, and that case will be back in court next month.
