Fenglan Liu was jailed for two years and three months in November last year after being found guilty of 16 fraud charges.

No retrial has been ordered.

The Court of Appeal ruling said there was not enough evidence that Fenglan Liu had in-depth knowledge of the running of her husband Jianbin Wang's company Top International Trading Ltd.

Wang was found guilty of 58 charges and jailed for three years and nine months.

An appeal against his sentence was dismissed.
