A small fire broke out on a rural Bay of Plenty property that was cordoned off by the armed offenders squad this morning.
The armed officers were called out after after police were threatened by the occupants of the property this morning.
Officers had gone to the lower Kaimai Ranges address to execute a search warrant.
Police said there was a small fire on the property and the Fire Service was also there.
They said the incident was contained and there was no wider risk to the public.
