A nurse who looked at patient records without permission has been suspended and fined.

The case involving the nurse, who was employed by MidCentral District Health Board, has been heard by the Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal.
The tribunal said Balvinder Toor looked at the electronic clinical records of 34 patients, while employed by the DHB, in the year to October 2012.
It said Ms Toor admitted the offending, and gave no explanation other than curiosity.
The tribunal said no harm was done to patients and the details were not circulated, nevertheless people needed protection.
It noted Ms Toor lost her job and was now living in India.
The tribunal suspended her from working for four months, imposed conditions should she resume work, and told her to meet costs of $3400.
