Former chief executive of Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Agency (CERA) who resigned after a sexual misconduct scandal may become a university lecturer.
Roger Sutton left the agency last January after the State Services Commission found him guilty of sexual harassment against a female staff member.
Mr Sutton is in talks with the University of Canterbury about a guest lecturing role at the College of Science in the Master of Risk and Resilience programme.
The university said it was unclear when a decision would be made on the appointment.
A spokesperson said they did not know what the University policy was on hiring people with a history of sexual misconduct.
